Steph and Serena talk about names, ideas for an inciting incident, portal pirates, organization methods, brainstorming notes, bodily functions, character ideas, nicknames, character origins, past ideas, have a squirrel interlude, ideas to keep or get rid of, the stories that preceded the original Island, and snacrifices.

Episode Ten: The Name Game

Steph and Serena abruptly start and then talk about release schedules, Serena's ability to interpret things incredibly inaccurately, staggered arrivals, have a sexy interlude, a desire for bees the size of guinea pigs, get distracted by the ocean, character ideas, opinions on religion, fantasy reproduction, ✨FRIENDSHIP✨, naming conventions, Serena gets REALLY excited about the meaning of her last name, more surname conventions, and get angry about unnecessary gendering.

Episode Nine: Distracted By The Beach

Steph and Serena get distracted while trying to recap, math out where they are in the editing process, recount a bug-related camping prank, actually discuss some things about the Island that they want to keep or toss, lament their lack of verbal articulation skills, subverting expectations with dumb jokes, friends who contributed to the original Island stories, unseasonal weather, nicknames for restaurants, price inflation, mermaid poop, irl injuries, the weather, before finally coming back around to rough ideas they'd come up with for the future Island stories.

Episode Eight: Losing It

Steph and Serena talk about future plans, to populate or not to populate, what's going to make it to the new Island, copyright infringement, crushing Tide Pods, bird noises, a sidestep into off-topic nonsense, assorted actors, scented things, and complain about work.

Episode Seven: Side Characters

Steph and Serena talk about characters their classmates had come up with during the Island's initial inception, characters they created later, and lament the complete and total lack of free time they have due to the capitalist dystopian nightmare we all live in!
