003 || Divorced/Separated Parents Coparenting During a Pandemic ft. Maranda Ahlfeld

Listen in to the newest episode, where I'm joined by Maranda, fellow parent educator, to discuss coparenting with a divorced parent during our current global crisis. For many families, coparenting is already a challenge, but adding a global pandemic has meant new stressors as well as trying to implement strategies to keep our children and ourselves safe and healthy. Maranda has a background in education and a Bachelor's in psychology from DePaul University. Maranda is currently working toward her Master's in Human Services Counseling. Maranda offers tips and strategies from her personal experience with the subject, looking through the lens of a former preschool teacher, current home visitor, and a divorced mom.  Learning Apps for Kids: -Jolly Phonics Songs -Garageband (free for iPad and iPhone)--let kids explore instruments and even record their songs! -Look and Find Elmo on Sesame Street -Sesame Street Alphabet Kitchen--vocabulary building app and practice literacy -PBS Kids Video -Kahn Academy Kids -Go Noodle
