The Modern Jungle Podcast
Day 43.Still intentionally homeless.Still grinding to impact a million people.Still walking through the jungle of life with nothing but truth, discipline, and presence.Today I talked about something from my past that changed my whole perspective. My stuff got stolen. At the time, it felt like a Matumbo block. That hard, disrespectful, volleyball-swat-off-the-backboard kind of block life gives you when you least expect it.But hereās the twist. The BETTER highlight wasnāt the block. It was the rebound. It was catching the ball mid-air and dunking it right after life tried to swat it away.Because even though my tent, air mattress, and blankets were gone, the tarp I ended up using afterward was actually a blessing. It was smaller, lighter, more mobile, easier to pack, easier to carry. It made the journey better.Getting Matumboād ended up being an upgrade.Sometimes life deletes your Plan A because Plan B moves cleaner.Sometimes the universe takes something heavy so you can move freely.Sometimes the block IS the set-up for the dunk.In this episode I break down:⢠How getting my stuff stolen actually made the journey easier⢠Why the inconvenience became an upgrade⢠The power of catching lifeās rebounds⢠The mindset behind turning setbacks into highlights⢠Why Iām committed to another 365 days if it takes that to impact a million people⢠The āpaper towel life hackā that replaced carrying a heavy towel⢠Why love is always the answer to another questionIntentional homelessness isnāt about suffering.Itās about sharpening.Itās about seeing the blessing inside the block.Itās about trusting that every swat, every loss, every setback is setting you up for your own highlight reel.Welcome to Day 43.Welcome to the rebound.Welcome to the dunk.Much love,Jungle JayeChanging the world one person at a time.
