The Jury Box
A woman slips into a coma. Her husband is accused of putting her there. In this episode, you’ll hear the case as jurors did: the medical mystery at the heart of the trial, the circumstantial evidence presented in court, and the legal standards the jury was asked to apply. Prosecutors and defense attorneys examine the same events — and draw very different conclusions. As the trial unfolds, questions of motive, proof, and reasonable doubt come into focus. Before the verdict is revealed, you’ll be invited to pause and decide how you would vote — without knowing how the jury ruled. Only then do we disclose what the jury decided, how they voted, and what followed.
