Piling Sh*t On. Interview w/ The Femtourage Podcast
This episode is wild; I don’t know how else to say it. We weren’t even supposed to be recording a podcast episode. I asked Kayla McNeill to meet so we could promote her Black Girl Magic planner (if you missed it, it’s sold out). We sat down and after asking one simple question: “how did you end up in DC,” I realized she had an amazing story that needed to be shared. She goes into detail about the struggle bus she rode up to DC and balancing motherhood, 9-5, and a little entrepreneurship on the side. Ep 20: Divine Alignment
This Memorial Day weekend I was blessed to be able to attend BYOBSociety's #BYOBRetreat. Here is my recap. BYOB hosts over 1000+ diverse founders, leaders, creatives, mentors, brands, athletes & entrepreneurs to GATHER and network. It was a weekend full of personal, professional, and entrepreneurial development. It was a little mixture of Forbes x Coachella x Afrotech x ComplexCon.
Ep 19: Breaking Into Startups
One of my favorite podcasts is Breaking Into Start Ups, so I decided to tell my story of how I broke into the technology world from a non tech background. Music: Sinopsis
Ep 18: God Blessing All The Single Mamas
This past week Vivian Kaye from KinkyCurlyYaki was sweet enough to send me a book (The Kick Ass Single Mom) I commented on from her Instastory and it made me think about how often single moms are seemingly "forgotten". This episode is dedicated to the single mamas, mamas, and mamas mamas.
