In this episode I'm joined by Deezy, a promising hip-hop artist from Invercargill who just a few years ago was living in Australia pursuing a career in Rugby League. With a charismatic flow backed by electrifying self-produced beats, Deezy has been cementing himself as an artist to look out for. Having a solid work ethic, he has been consistent with putting out music over the past few years, always hungry to grow and break new ground. After this episode was recorded Deezy became the first hip-hop artist from Invercargill to have national radio play when Randy Sjafrie featured his track on Mai FM. In this episode we linked via ZOOM to chat about a variety of things, such as his inspirations to create music and the importance of chasing your dreams.
