Jacobs has a moment of reckoning while on his self-imposed exile. Matt finally asks Jacobs about his part in the events that led to then bombing. Matt struggles to face the implications of Jacobs' revelations.

Chapter 11: TWIN CITIES

The refugees make their way past the biggest city, yet. Jacobs and Matt struggle in their own way about how to lead the group. Jacobs nears his breaking point with a mistake that cost a life. The group of refugees, grows.

Chapter 10 : LONG ROAD

Matt continues to try and reconcile with Jacobs action. The truth of the matter comes to the forefront. A threat appears within the group.

Chapter 9: HUNTED

The refugees are attacked. Matt makes some bold moves to save them. Jacobs kicks the hornets nest prompting the enemy. His actions test the adhesion of the group.

Chapter 8: BRIDGE

As they race from the lodge, the refugees are under attack. In trying to survive, Matt begins to discover instincts he'd rather not. Jacobs leads them against all odds.
