27. All about the Chicken!
Today on the show we are talking about how we added a new product to MC- Meat Co! And isn't beef... what Lettie. Lettie is kind of known as the beef lady, but today she talks about how with MC- Meat Co. She has always wanted to add another protein to the company, but actually raising the animal really sort of just stressed her out. It would add another thing to her plate and as of right now she is just trying to run the current businesses! Lettie talks about her "chicken story" and why having quality chicken is such a huge benefit to her. She loves other proteins, and she makes sure its nothing but the best quality. Plus once you know good quality, its really hard to go back to store bought goods. In Addition to the chicken, she talks about some benefits to adding chickens in a biological setting on the ranch. She also talks about how the Miller's, her partners, raise the chickens to bring high quality protein to more customers!
