In this episode of The Lighthouse, we received some not so pleasant news that this year's DC Leadership Summit has been put on hold. We invited some Windrose Alumni and dear friends to share how The Windrose Project and prior DC Leadership Summits have made their lives change course for the better. With news likes this, we remind ourselves that the most important take away from The Windrose Project is that all our lives have value and that we are all created in the image of God. Knowing this makes our bond that much stronger.

In this episode of The Podcast, we hone in on the great story of victory over Adiel's battle of loneliness. He shares some of the lows in his early life and the things he did to triumph over, and continues to triumph, the negative aspects of his life. We also touch up on the differences of being alone to listen to God and recharge versus being in a state of loneliness. Mental and spiritual health contributes a substantial amount in our everyday being, so why not take it seriously. We urge all of you, our friends, to have a close friend or mentor that you can confide in to share the storms that you are going through, you never know who might be going or have gone through something similar as you. And don't forget, God always listens and is by your side when aid is needed.
