Ep. 004 - Crosscultural Adventures, the Glorifying of Individualism & Entrepreneurship as a weapon against Poverty
I got the immense privilege to meet and talk with Liz, a woman who has lived in Nepal and India for 30 years, traveled all across the globe to educate and help people build businesses that help entire countries up on their feet, also how the Western world can help efficiently, and what we can learn from other cultures. She carries wisdom, experience and grit, along with a fierce belief in God, but also in people, - that they can and will change the world one small action at a time.
Ep. 003 - Reflecting on Community and Creativity, with lots of good Analogies
This episode is long, I know, but it is GOOD. Mikaël Boucher is for sure one of my favorite people to just sit and reflect over life with. Constantly spinning off from each others thoughts the conversations mostly become very varied and interesting, - full of realizations and sometimes more questions. This episode includes The Shire, the sacrifice of Boromir, great quests, the power of confession, discomfort, and Swedish fika. You won't regret listening to this one.
Ep. 002 - Living a Life of Adventure, Kicking Fear in the Butt, and Choosing Joy and Jesus.
Today's podcast features my dear friend Julia Miller. She is the most loving, kind and brave soul and has a heart of gold. Check out her Instagram to stay tuned on her missionary shenanigans at @julemill.
Ep. 001 - Rest, burnout, priorities & vision
The Lineage Podcast Trailer
I’m young, I have most of my big life choices ahead of me. This can often be daunting to think about, exciting at best, terrifying at worst. Something I think, for most part, we have lost is the multi generational thinking. In the western world we don’t have grandma and great great uncle Steve in the basement, we are very individualistic in our thinking, and managing on your own is praised in society. Strong, independent and successful. Thing is, I have to realize that I do not know it all. Honestly if I can avoid inventing the wheel again, or make the exact same stupid choice that led to disaster by my uncle Bob, then please, tell me how. That is why I in this podcast want to invite people of different age, background and perspective to have a conversation about the stages of life, simple sacred moments, heart shattering trauma, idealistic pursuit and pessimistic settling, and the spectrum in between. I want to learn, broaden my perspectives and let my heart be moved by the beauty and pain of humanity. Because I am certainly not the first woman to roam this earth, but I am a small part of this Story, with a divine purpose, as do all of us. Thanks for tuning in for this trailer!
