Creative Multi-Hyphenate J.St.Jaimes Shares Her Journey From Canvas To Skin

I’m joined by creative multi-hyphenate @j.st.jaimes to discuss her journey from corporate to full-time entrepreneur, how she transitioned from canvas to skin, how Covid impacted her career and industry, and how she has re-defined success. Inspired by both avant-garde and minimalist painters, j.’s loves for the juxtaposition of clean beauty and the oddly peculiar is present in her work. As a self-taught artist, her journey into the world of makeup began as a painter. Making the transition from canvas to skin not only expanded her range of skill but portfolio as well. j.’s aesthetic has elevated her to collaborate with such leading brands as Nike, Atlantic Records, Converse, Verizon, Kohler, Dillard’s, Adidas, MSNBC, AT&T, Hurley and others. Her complete body of work includes television, theater, editorials, fashion/trade shows, bridal, and brand campaigns. What You Need To Know About Covid-19 + The Vaccine with Dr. Akilah Jefferson Shah, MD

I'm joined by special guest Dr. Akilah Jefferson Shah, MD - Immunologist - Allergist to discuss the latest COVID-19 updates and what you need to know about the vaccine. **One question that we discussed off-air: After the two rounds of vaccines do you have to get it every year like a flu shot or is that after that? It's not clear yet. That’s only because the virus has only been around for less than a year and the studies have only been going for a few months so they don’t have enough data at this point to know if you’ll need more shots annually or what. But the current studies are going to continue even after the vaccines are FDA approved and they’re gonna continue to look at the people's blood work and immune system to see what’s happening to determine the answer to that question.
