From Compton to SLC - CJ Arnell

CJ Arnell is known to many of us Utah locals as the guy who brought Kanye West to the gateway. Aside from his extended, premiere network, the man works around the clock to pursue his place as a musician and a mentor to the industries his brands are established in. I First got to meet CJ through colleagues of mine and we started talking through Instagram. It wasn't until a few months later did we actually get to meet in person. He has got to be one of the most influential artists in the community I work in due to his steadfast involvement with his community through social media and directly at his studio and through his other ventures. I'm grateful to have him both as a mentor and a friend.

Sitting Down with a Master, JD Allen

JD Allen has been a heavy name in our community and a name I've heard of since I first started making videos for our artists. He is the CEO and Executive Producer for Inglewood Films which is a staple of media not just for our local community but for the films community as a whole. With his productions like 'Fear Level' which is on Amazon Prime, as well as Saiya which is out soon, he has proven time and time again that his story-telling is the key to his vision.   I was so excited to sit down with JD finally. With his busy schedule, he was able to squeeze me in and it has been a true highlight of my journey.

As a preface, one of my cameras was experiencing technical difficulties and so during part of the interview, you will notice Ben's mic going out. Luckily, my mic was able to pick him up just fine.  This is the full interview of our second interview with Ben Major. It was so great being able to sit with him again inside his home studio. Ben Major, has been a consistent mover in the Utah community, making frequent appearances on Slap Lake City as well as consistently bringing new tracks and videos to his followers. His music has always been the type of music I love to listen to.
