We discuss her experiences regarding being transgender as well as her recent appearance on SBS, titled “the only girl at an all-boys school” and the backlash she received as a result. When we speak about how teachers "can't bring up LGBTQ+ issues", etc., in Australian schools, it is more because it is just not a widely spoken about topic, rather than it being legally prohibited.
