INSIDE THE LIFE OF: TOM DAVIES - United Youth days, climbing up the football pyramid and overcoming injuries

Jack, George and Mikey sat down with Bristol Rovers defender Tom Davies, currently on loan with Barrow AFC, as part of their brand new ‘Inside the life of’ series. Tom discussed his beginnings at Manchester United, dropping down to non-league and working at McDonald‘s, his climb back up the football pyramid and overcoming injury problems. We also spoke to Tom about his favourite managers. Tom‘s footballing journey started with Manchester United, before a move to Blackburn Rovers where he was released aged 16. Davies spent a few years playing non-league, learning his trade at FC United of Manchester, before getting his break into pro football again with Fleetwood Town. Tom has also played for Portsmouth, Coventry City, Accrington Stanley and has a wealth of Football League experience. Picture credit: Lymm AFC
