From the 60's to today, it seems like people in the U.S. have thought of more and more ways to reject God and do their own thing. What is the source of sin? Why do people resist God's plan? In this episode, I look at Romans 1 and describe the 4 stages of depravity. We then look at man's only hope.

Since the 1950's there has been an increased turning away from from faith, doctrine, and Jesus Christ. Then, there was a spiritual revival. Now, there's ever increasing secularization and church attendance is falling each year. In his book, Bad Religion: How We Became a Nation of Heretics, Ross Douthat examines the causes, so I draw on his book as well as other sources.

Grace-Based Parenting, Interview with Tim Chapman

Today we're going to hear from someone with a lot of experience in the area of parenting, as well as coaching parents. Tim Chapman has eleven children and one of his passions is to help equip parents in their role. He wants all parents to raise kids who will follow Christ at home and also when they are "launched" out of the home. Tim calls this approach grace-based parenting and I'm sure that you'll find his advice extremely helpful as you work at being a better Christian parent.
