The Identity of the Embodied Wealthy Woman

Money is the most common topic I’m asked about in my mentorship spaces. My relationship with money is an extension of my identity. Yet, it is not from a space of ‘having’ but BEING. I never needed a bigger home, a fancier car or larger diamonds. My wealth is a mirror of my exploration of how expansive I could become.  Today, I’ll share insight into how my relationship with wealth evolved throughout my life - from growing up in a communist country, to immigrating to the US as a refugee, to launching a business with my husband while we were $80,000 in debt and growing that business to 2.5 billion dollars in revenue in 15 years before selling it. These experiences created so many opportunities for expansion and growth, and I met each one in the best way that I could - with curiosity.  Embodied wealth is at the core of the mentorship work I do with female entrepreneurs. “Stop perfecting who you are for feedback from others, and start being real.”  Abundance is not just found in ‘good vibes’. Abundance does not leave us on days when the world feels heavy, when loneliness creeps in, or when our energy and emotions wobble. I believe in sacred places. I feel we each have specific places on this Earth that activate something profound within us - portals to a connection with our deeper selves.  Paris is that place for me.  Today I’ll share the beautiful path that led me to living in Paris, and the ways in which Paris awoke my divine feminine and reintroduced me to the beauty of play and presence once I settled here.  Today’s Journal Entry:  Is there a place that calls to your soul? Are You Still Trying to Earn Love Through Your Productivity?

For so much of my life I ran at full speed. It was the only way that I knew how to be. I was an expert plate spinner with a full life. No amount of striving and productivity felt like too much.  When we sold our company and I retired at 39, the need to be ‘productive’ vanished. Then, the unexpected happened. I crashed. My soul came knocking, and it asked: who are you outside of your doing?  I didn’t have an answer, and what followed next was a multiyear journey of becoming.  And so I ask you in today’s journal prompt:  Who are you beyond the striving and reaching? Who are you beyond the constant need to please everyone else ahead of yourself?
