For over ten years Nicola worked in Intensive Care, treating the acutely unwell, and in the Cardiac Intensive Care, treating patients who needed more specialist care after heart surgery. It was due to devastating life events that she pivoted to deliver rehabilitation. Nicola's career has spanned 25 years in the NHS, as a clinician, leader and board member, alongside running a successful physiotherapy business. Nicola is passionate about sharing her knowledge and speaks at professional conferences, webinars and delivering courses to improve brain injury rehabilitation and people's brain health.
