Descripción

This is the first time I have openly spoken about my prison experiences with authenticity. I use to believe that leaving this part of myself was best for me. I have recently realized that I still have a lot to heal from regarding my time while incarcerated. This episode is a two part episode that shares my experiences of fear while navigating juvie, jail and prison.  It has always been easier to be what you needed instead of staying true to myself. This episode is part of my healing and letting go of the idea that no one understands. This isn't a glorification story, this is my honesty on full display. I am comfortable in my own skin today. I share with you to let go of all the things that still hold me back.

Survive Or Thrive: Lauren Bittner's Personal Story of Grief and Healing

This episode is about the healing stories that are all around us in life. When we are willing to have conversations that allow people to tell their stories we get a personal and intimate experience. Help me welcome Lauren Bittner to The Mission Possible Life Podcast.  Lauren is a Grief Empowerment Coach who uses personal and professional experiences to help her client's be present with their grief. There are no typical stories here on this podcast because we each have a unique vantage point of our personal experiences. This episode shows what it means to understand your story through the pain of others. When all else seems uncontrollable there is one thing that cannot be taken from each and everyone of us, that is our response. Grief is one aspect of life we cannot escape. How do we build a healthy relationship with the loss of someone important to us? How do we carry the memories of our loved ones in a manner that make life meaningful? How do we talk about the loss of someone? These questions are answered throughout this episode.  When you are present with your pain, acknowledge something is off, and have a desire for a better tomorrow. You can begin to take the next right action that can help you understand your situation differently.

Being Bold, Beautiful, and Resilient: Heather Wyatt's Story

On this episode it is with great honor I get to introduce you to Heather Wyatt. Heather and I met via LinkedIn. In all honesty every time someone asks me to get on a zoom call on LinkedIn I am a little hesitant. That is because the calls are usually about trying to sell a product or optimization tool. This wasn't the case when Heather and I jumped on that call. Heather was interested in what I was doing and through the conversation I got to hear more about who Heather is. A Holistic Health and Weight Loss Coach and so much more. At the end of the call I knew I had to invite Heather to be a guest on my podcast. Without hesitation she said she would. I don't want to share to much as this episode does more justice than I ever could through a description. If you like what you hear and want to connect with Heather. Check out her website WyattCoaching.com. She is also on LinkedIn and go follow her on Instagram @_heatherwyatt

episode When Mental Walls Become Physical Ones Part.2 artwork

When Mental Walls Become Physical Ones Part.2

On this episode the host discuss his understanding of what families go through while someone is incarcerated. Speaking from personal experience it is easy to believe that everyone who is in prison, got there because of where they live, how they were raised, or what they were shown. The host is here to show that this is not always true. Sure our environment and those that are in it can impact us negatively. The host shares how supportive his family has always been and what they may of felt while they had a loved one who was incarcerated.  The Mission Possible Life Podcast focuses on the healing aspects of the pain and struggles we go through by being completely transparent. This episode is true to the idea behind the podcast.
