So are you dating? When are you getting married? When are you getting a baby? When's the promotion drink up? In a society where early achievers are celebrated, we often ignore the feelings and fate of those who take a little longer to hit milestones or bring the buck home. On this episode we unearth the feelings that come with this reality and really, who is keeping tab? after all life takes its course anyway and for late bloomers, we have to muster the art of "going with the floe" and wait for the tide to turn. This month we chime in on the SAAM conversation with this year's theme "I ASK FOR CONSENT". I'll talk about sexual abuse and how we can fight it, this is a very biased conversation as I speak a woman and based off my experiences as a woman. Nonetheless it's important to shed light on how abuse looks like, what to do when it happens and how to live a healthy life after such a traumatic life altering experience. Do you like you? pt 2, Self acceptance - Letting go with Ler

So now you know that you need to accept yourself but how do you let that sticky past go and move on to the future? Ler shares with us her personal journey and her active points to stay on course. On this two part episode, I share with you my two cents on self acceptance. Why it's been so hard to like and accept myself and that 'you know what' moment when I chose to accept me exactly how I am and the world can follow suit. We also see what may stop us from accepting our amazing selves and miss out on the best parts of our lives. In part 2 we have a guest on board and she will share her perspective, on family, friends, faith and self acceptance.
