In 2014 Tim won the ECU’s 'Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching', and in 2015 he won the Australian Awards for University Teaching’s 'Award for Teaching Excellence'. As a performer he has played at festivals including the Daegu International Guitar Festival in South Korea and the Adelaide Guitar Festival.  As an avid educator, Caleb holds teaching roles at Adelaide Universities’, Elder Conservatorium Open Music Academy and is the Artistic Director, Conductor and Tutor for the South Australian Youth Guitar Ensemble which, as a testament to his efforts was nominated in the SA Music Awards as ‘Best Music Educator’ in 2023.
