Reminiscing about my childhood, observations from the past when it comes to family and parenthood, and touching upon adolescence and living life in the 90’s. #FFBN PODCAST EPISODE 17: “I AM STILL HERE!”

HEY FOLKS! WHEW!!! What a summer huh? Complete with a pandemic that some debate is a ploy to insert a chip in your brain, for full goverment control; Wuhan made the virus on purpose in a lab; and lets add to that the cherry on the cake being internet and media rumors of a Civil War... But wait there's more... Alyssa Milano is a fake, Black Lives Matter... ANTIFA... Proud Boys... Trump Rallies and convoys --- Yet black people are still being shot to death, a 17 year old is being celebrated as a vigilante hero; Portland is a War zone, and Kenosha, Washington is burning to the ground... But besides all that, YOU AND I ARE STILL HERE... So how was YOUR SUMMER? I took this summer, amidst all of the above to take control of my summer. And you know what? It was the best Summer I've had. Everything felt more present, real, appreciative, and every little bite of a morsel, sip of a libation, and time with family and kin, it all just felt so special!!! This podcast is a solo one, where I celebrate taking control of your individual life, being responsible, but making sure all the things that matter, mattered most, and yet through it all this nasty lab made corona virus did not wipe me out, my son, my family, nor friends.  It's quite the opposite, my immediate family and friends are all still alive, very well, healhty and most of all 1000% present and happy in mind - body - soul; and ultimately I hope you are in the same state - if so, let us rejoice! Yeah... Life is weird right now, but in the end, if you are one of those that has made it out of this, and have a positive and hopeful mindset for what is still to come; then you too ARE HERE! Here... Present, rejoicing, happy and full of love! Say it with me... I AM STILL HERE DAMMIT!!! SO stop what you are doing for 1 hour, and listen, laugh, and hopefully learn something... ENJOY.

Hey folks!!! What was supposed to be an interview with a nurse on the frontlines of NYC, got cancelled, due to her quest to find the perfect basic b*tch coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, and using her free time posting about teas, and recording strolls in NYC during a ghost-town pandemic, and complain about her host's crab cakes... HAHAHAHA I am busting chops - CHEETAH you know I got nothing but love for ya! LOL!!! Well, anywho, this all turned into a mad dash to find a replacement guest. The end result couldn't have gone better if planned. Chris H. of West New York, NJ participated in the previous episode "QUARANTINE LIFE", his recording left quite an impression on me and listeners. Originally scheduled as a 45min - 1 hour the podcast -- then turned into more than 1:40 hours of random tangents, ghost stories, atheism, family balance, success during the time of COVID-19, and MORE! Yeah... This is a long one, but take your time, this one is like a fine single malt scotch; listen while on a jog, a bike ride, a sunday stroll, laundry day, spring-cleaning, and any downtime you may find or create for yourself. As always the podcast is about the slightly above average Joe or Jade, the kind of people that make this great big world the diverse and wonderfully odd place it is. Here we are, 30 days of Quarantine and counting; we are still social Distancing, and attempting to flatten the curve. Yet from the last episode to today, the number of cases sky rocketed from 4,400 cases nationwide to 363,000!!! If those numbers don't scare you, they should... Because it's a result from not being prepared as a nation, from your fellow neighbors not taking this serious, to our worldwide health not being where it should be, due to poor eating habits which equate to poor immune systems. Corruption, greed, and IGNORANCE have all reared their ugly heads during this time... But let us take a break from this and humanize this if we can. What has LIFE IN QUARANTINE and the NEW NORM meant to you? Are you learning more about yourself... Are you learning about your strengths and weaknesses?? Are you learning how to overcome this??? Are you garnering any silver linings from any of this???? The answer is an overwhelming YES! Power to the people indeed!!! I am so thankful to YOU my audience, for sharing your stories, your concerns, and inspiring where you can, and motivating when least expected. HECK! You've even motivated, inspired and encouraged me!... SO dear listener, take this time to hear from your everyday heroes --- From the retail sales employee, to the corporate executive, to corrections officer, state trooper, marine and more...
