Breland Moore : Never afraid to be involved.

In this episode of The Obstructed View I sit down with Philadelphia's Fox 29 sports anchor Breland Moore. Growing up in the Lancaster area she developed her love of sports with her family particularly her grandfather by going to different sporting events. Breland found her way to Temple University and on North Broad she jumped in with both feet and got in involved with just about everything. She details how her desire to learn and get involved helped her deal with any self doubt or anxiety she may have had. Breland shares her journey from Scranton to Buffalo to Kansas City to her hometown city of Philadelphia. Breland tells us how she is still trying to improve herself and continues to be involved in all aspects of life and the community. We finally wrap up by getting a current look at the state of the Philadelphia sports teams. Please join me for my Obstructed View with Breland Moore.

Danny Higginbotham - The Hardest Working Man in Soccer!

If you don't know Danny just pick a media platform. He can be seen on Apple TV calling MLS soccer games, then if you turn the channel to NBC or USA networks, you'll watch Danny's commentary on the English Premier League and his old club Manchester United among others. If you're in the car listening to satellite radio you will hear him on channel 84 soccer FC on the Football Show. Basically, Danny works like he did while he was a professional football player for 15 years in England and had to grind and out work others on the pitch. We dive into how the American youth soccer programs are broken with the pay to play model and some of the best players will never be developed because they'll never have the opportunity. We wrap up talking about the World Cup & it coming to Philadelphia his adopted hometown here in the states. We correlate the sports fandom of the people of Philadelphia & Manchester and how they are very similar with their blue collar work ethic & mentality. Enjoy my Obstructed View with former English Premier footballer Danny Higginbotham.
