2. Pediatrics: An honest look into treating kids.

On this episode of The OCTO Podcast, our very own CEO, Danielle House hosts Dr. Kelly Bateman. Dr. Bateman is a 2010 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She worked alongside her husband practicing dentistry in underserved, rural regions of East Texas, before opening her own private practice in 2016. Currently, Dr. Kelly practices general dentistry with a focus on pediatrics in Nacogdoches, Texas where she resides with her husband and four children.  With over a decade of experience in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Bateman communicates valuable insight on not just the day to day challenges of working with kids, but the importance of an emotional connection and overall experience in making a child feel safe, comfortable, and maybe even excited about going to the dentist.
