At the moment we hope the awards will take place in the Autumn, and this podcast will return then – featuring exciting interviews with the nominees, and backstage interviews from the awards themselves. The Olivier Awards 2020 has sadly been cancelled amidst the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, but the Society of London Theatre are working on a way to properly honour and announce this year’s winners. We still want to honour the nominees, so on this week’s episode of the Olivier Awards Podcast – the official podcast of The Olivier Awards with Mastercard, Alice Arnold is sitting down with SoLT Chief Executive and Olivier Awards producer Julian Bird to discuss the biggest news in the Plays and Opera categories.
