While Human Design is almost always spoken about in the context of older children and adults, it’s equally important to consider how this knowledge can guide us in the crucial early years of a child’s life. It’s where my passion for Human Design took a pivot — not just focusing on myself or my husband or my family and friends -  but this incredible invitation after brining Luna earthside to honor her and her design from the jump. So, we’re going to explore how honoring a baby’s Human Design differs from doing so for toddlers and older children, and I’ll of course give some practical tools and insights as to how you can support your baby’s unique design from the very beginning. These two little numbers that carry so much information and introspection, provide deep insight into our natural behaviors, challenges, and strengths, and offer us this roadmap to help us navigate relationships, careers, our passions, and most importantly — our own personal growth. For the sake of today’s episode, I want to hyper focus on the twelve different profiles in Human Design, how they manifest in both parents and children, and how having a keen understanding and awareness around this part of your chart can dramatically enhance your family dynamics. How to Support Your Child's Authority in Human Design

In this episode, we’re going to talk about an essential aspect of Human Design: understanding and tapping into your child’s unique decision-making authority. As you know by now, Human Design offers this detailed map of how we make decisions and interact with the world, and at the core of this system are the different types of authority. I touched on this a bit in episode 4 when I went through each Design Type, but this week, it’s going to be our sole focus. Each authority type provides a unique approach to decision-making, and recognizing which one both you and your child has will profoundly influence how you guide and support them. To find both your authority and your child’s, simply look at the chart and see where it says “Chart Properties”. It will be listed there. We’ll explore the various authority types as well as practical strategies for helping your child to align with their decision-making process.
