Dr. De Santis is a U of T and Stanford trained Neurologist. He completed his medical school at Western University and then his subspecialty, training in neurology at the University of Toronto, where he was chief resident. He is currently completing advanced training with a fellowship at Stanford in neurohospitalist medicine. His past research includes deep dives into epilepsy and genetic syndromes, and his current research is focused on the effects of pregnancy in the maternal brain. In addition to his day-to-day medical training on the neurology wards and lecturing at both U of T and Stanford, he is currently pursuing a master's in health education at the University of Ottawa.
