Let's Get It Together: Episode 5 - Do You Have A Will, Trust, Or Powers of Attorney In Place - Part 1

Welcome to The Peace & Order Academy Show – a podcast here to assist you in leaving a legacy of love and peace for your family. I’m your host, Kimberly Ivory Graves, speaker and author of Leaving Peace & Order – A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Your Affairs In Order. In this fifth episode of the Let’s Get It Together Series, we will discuss Question #5: Do you have a will, trust, or powers of attorneydocuments in place? To make is easy, I am going to divide Question #5 into two separate episodes. Part one will cover the documents that are important to have in place while you are alive and that will become obsolete once you pass away. These documents are Powers of Attorney (Financial & Medical), Living Will, Do Not Resuscitate Order (DNR) and HIPPA Authorization form. Part two of Question #5 will be covered in the next episode where we will discuss the importance of having a will and/or a trust. These documents go into effect after you pass away.
