Descripción

Sometimes awakening doesn't feel magical. Sometimes it feels lonely. In this Full Moon solo episode of The Phoenix Perspective Podcast, we explore the often unseen side of spiritual awakening—the identity shifts, grief, loneliness, intuition, and deep personal transformation that can happen when you begin outgrowing old versions of yourself. Whether you're experiencing a spiritual awakening, uncovering intuitive gifts, navigating a dark night of the soul, healing after loss, or realizing that the life you've built no longer fits who you're becoming… this episode is for you. Drawing from my own experiences navigating awakening, intuition, deployment experiences, leaving behind old identities, and learning to trust my inner knowing, we explore why personal growth can sometimes feel isolating—and why that doesn't mean you're on the wrong path. We talk about spiritual gifts, authenticity, belonging, nervous system safety, creating supportive community, and how to honor the unfolding process of becoming who you truly are. In this episode, you'll learn: • Why spiritual awakenings can feel lonely • What a "dark night of the soul" can teach us • Why identity shifts often create discomfort and grief • How intuition and spiritual gifts may emerge through challenge and change • Why creating safety within yourself matters first • How to build supportive community during seasons of transformation • Why outgrowing old versions of yourself is part of growth • How to trust yourself—even when life feels uncertain We also explore the fear of being seen, the courage it takes to share your gifts with the world, and why authenticity sometimes asks us to let old structures fall away before something more aligned can grow in its place. If you've been feeling like you don't fit anymore… If you've been changing… If you've been remembering parts of yourself that feel both beautiful and unfamiliar… Dear sister, you're not broken. You're becoming. 18. What Moms Need to Know About Periods, Body Confidence & Raising Strong Girls (with Amy Wilding)

If you're raising a daughter, this episode is for you. What messages about periods, body image, puberty, and womanhood are being passed down in your home—intentionally or unintentionally? In this powerful conversation on The Phoenix Perspective Podcast, I sit down with menstrual educator, women's circle facilitator, and founder of Period of Change, Amy Wilding, to explore how moms can help raise body-confident girls while healing the shame, silence, and misinformation many of us inherited ourselves. Together, we talk about menstrual health, body confidence, body autonomy, cyclical living, and why understanding our bodies isn't just important for women—it's how we change generations. Because our daughters are watching. And how we speak about our bodies, our periods, aging, emotions, and self-worth becomes part of the blueprint they carry into adulthood. In this episode, we discuss: • How period stigma impacts girls long before their first cycle • Why body literacy is one of the greatest gifts we can give our daughters • Premenstrual signals vs shame-based messaging • Helping girls approach puberty with confidence instead of fear • How body confidence starts inside the home • Raising emotionally healthy boys alongside empowered girls • Breaking generational cycles around shame and body criticism • Body autonomy, cycle awareness, and menstrual education • Practical ways moms can begin creating change today Amy also shares her personal story of discovering menstrual wisdom after pregnancy loss, the creation of Period of Change, and why educating girls—and their mothers—creates ripple effects that change families, communities, and culture. If you've ever thought: "I want my daughter to grow up loving herself more than I did..." This conversation is for you. Because changing the future starts in our homes. 17. Rising in Real Life - Why Women Need Different Tools to Thrive | Season 2 Premiere

Season 2 is here—and we’re going deeper, Sister. In this Season 2 premiere of The Phoenix Perspective Podcast, we explore what it really means to rise in real life as a woman living in a cyclical body, in a world that was never designed with women’s rhythms, hormones, nervous systems, or emotional realities in mind. This episode is an invitation into more honest conversations about women’s health, burnout, menstrual cycles, perimenopause, pleasure, nervous system regulation, body literacy, self-trust, and the messy, beautiful reality of being human. Drawing from my experience as a registered nurse, cyclical living educator, and woman navigating real life right alongside you, I share the deeper vision behind Season 2: Rising in Real Life. Because healing isn’t about becoming perfect. It’s about reconnecting with yourself. We talk about: * Why women often feel exhausted, disconnected, or like they’re “failing” * How hustle culture and patriarchal systems disconnect women from their bodies * The importance of cyclical living and honoring changing energy throughout the menstrual cycle * Why women need different wellness tools and nervous system support * Breaking period stigma and opening conversations around taboo topics * The power of community, body literacy, and self-acceptance * What it means to stop abandoning yourself and start listening to your body You’ll also get a sneak peek into the powerful guest stories coming this season—including conversations about healing, hormones, intimacy, burnout, generational patterns, feminine leadership, pleasure, spirituality, and rebuilding life from the ashes. This season is less scripted, more real, and rooted in practical tools for living a vibrant, aligned life in the middle of everyday chaos. Because you are not broken, sister. You are cyclical. And your body has been speaking to you all along. episode Remembering the Fifth Element of Love: The Phoenix Unscripted artwork

Remembering the Fifth Element of Love: The Phoenix Unscripted

In this Phoenix Unscripted reflection, I find myself thinking about the elements—earth, water, fire, and air—and the mysterious fifth element that ties them all together. Sometimes the insights that shape us don’t come from formal teachings. They arrive through songs, movies, memories, and quiet moments where something suddenly clicks. In the summer of 2025, while listening to music and rewatching The Fifth Element, I found myself reflecting on something deeper: the idea that love is the force that brings everything into balance. In the film, the elements alone weren’t enough to stop the darkness. Even the supreme being couldn’t act until love activated the whole system. And maybe our lives work the same way. In this reflection beside the fire, I explore the idea that we often forget who we are—and sometimes it takes another person, a song, a story, or a moment of connection to help us remember. In this conversation, we explore: • The symbolism of the elements and the mysterious “fifth element” • Why love may be the force that binds body, soul, and purpose together • How the people around us help reflect our light back to us • Why remembering our purpose can be difficult in a world that feels chaotic • The importance of community and connection for those walking a path of awakening Sometimes remembering who we are doesn’t happen alone. Sometimes it happens when someone else reminds us. So settle in, take a breath, and join me beside the fire. If you enjoyed this episode, you'll love what's happening inside the Red Tent Society.
