The Pink Seat Unscripted
Summer has a way of changing our rhythms. School ends, schedules loosen, the days get longer—and yet many of us still struggle to slow down. Together we'll talk about: • Why women often feel guilty about slowing down • The pressure of comparison and trying to create the “perfect summer” • The fear that everything will fall apart if we stop striving • How exhaustion impacts our joy, patience, relationships, and spiritual health • Why rest is actually an act of trust and spiritual warfare Jesus offers a simple invitation in Matthew 11:28-29: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This summer, maybe God isn't asking you to do more. Maybe He's inviting you to slow down and receive His rest. Challenge for the Week: Begin thinking about practical ways you can build more margin, rest, and intentional slowing down into your summer months.
