Descripción

Join my best friend and me as we talk about life-changing experiences we had when we failed and tried again (including getting a Fulbright Scholarship, getting into Vanderbilt graduate school, and getting a Senior Director role at The College Board), how we are in our season of being visibile and viewing dicomfort as a sign of growth and expansion.

For those feeling creatively stuck or anxious

Hi soul friends, Today's episode was medicine that I received from the divine after feeling anxious and stuck when sitting down to work on creative projects of mine. And I realized that anxiety can be a beautiful tool for unearthing what it is we care about and what is feeling misaligned, triggering, or uncomfortable. "Stuckness" and the frustration that comes with it can be an invitation to slow down, go within, and be curious. Sometimes we are so concerned with the external world that we forget to tend to the internal universe we have within ourselves and how it is connected to all things around us. We forget that we are WORTHY, period. Just like the birds and the trees are worthy, so too are we always worthy, always held by the Earth. Always part of the Earth. And so much of this work is REMEMBERING in the midst of systems that put up barriers between us and our connection to life. Our connection to divinity. After these reflections, I share a few prompts that helped me get creatively "unstuck." I invite you to come back to them to journal or voicenote what comes up for you. The episode ends with a light meditation, taking you to a place of divine creative energy and knowing. My hope is that it reminds you of your own divinity and the creative forces within you and flowing around you always. Remember soul friend that you are always worthy and loved. You are always creative. You just need to tune in and remember. If anything resonated with you today, I would love to hear from you.
