I want you to know that not everyone goes to Heaven when they die! I know we want to believe they do, but the fact of the matter is, not everyone who thinks they are going to Heaven really is. In what is, without question, the most important area of any person's life, most people, are sincerely wrong concerning what they believe about salvation.

People love the illusion of security that comes with men having titles among them. These things have been abused in the church. This is obvious to most people. But why? As we look at this 10th Commandment, the first characteristic I notice is that this Commandment represents a move away from actions into the realm of attitude. While breaking all the rest of the Commandments has its origin in the heart and mind of man, they all find their ultimate expression in some type of physical activity. This Commandment is different!

"We are not all that happy about carelessly exposing our children to darkness without any Christian explanation or providing them with any biblically-informed worldview understanding, and we are not interested in blindly encouraging our children to participate in rituals or celebrations directly related to pagan false deities. And of all groups, churches should not be hosting celebrations of a pagan holiday -- not even for evangelism."
