Episode 0: Creative Potential
Ever since Archimedes shouted Eureka! in a small wooden hot tub humans have experienced the creative potential of a hot soak. soak is an original podcast series that features the bold and the beautiful bathhouses that were social spots in America at the turn of the century from California to Arkansas, Detroit to New York City. the series begins in the late 1800s and spans the current moment as a renaissance in soaking is under way in part fueled by the elusive search for digital detox + nostalgia for the places that could never be built today. Or could they? is it time to return to the bathhouse as the town square?
