To end of our Black History Month series, we are joined by Fariba Al-Hassan and Nikayda Harris, third year students studying Public Affairs and Policy Management at Carleton University. Fariba and Nikayda are the co-presidents of BSPA Carleton: the Black Students in Public Affairs club on Carleton's campus. We are joined by Tinu Akinwande and Pascal Adesina who are not strangers to the podcast and are recent university graduates. Tinu earned her Bachelors in Political Science with a concentration in Public Affairs and Policy Analysis with a double major in African Studies from Carleton University and Pascal earned his Bachelors in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law and a minor in Linguistics from McMaster University. In this episode, we discuss black love relating to familial, platonic, and self love.
