Gabriëlle La Croix is a Dutch scholar pursuing a PhD in Caribbean History at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has studied in the UK, speaks and reads multiple languages, and (at the time of recording) is a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh in the US. Needless to say, she fits what I would call an "internationally-fluent individual!" In this episode, Gabriëlle and I go over what it means to study in different countries with different work cultures, as well as reflect on her few months here in the great (and way more international than you think) city of Pittsburgh.
