S1E7 Discerning The Lord's Body

In the episode, we will be covering Chapter 3 of the Syllabus, For This Thy Brother!  The topic of today's episode is Discerning the Lord's Body!  It is imperative that we, as members in particular, fitly framed together in the Body of Christ, have the spiritual sensitivity to discern when another part of our body is struggling or in pain or needing support or comfort of some kind!  If we properly discerned the Lord's Body there would not be nearly so many Prodigals!  They would be fully restored before they wind up excised from the body and then replaced by a spiritual prosthetic device... a program or a plan.  I fear at times that we not only fail to discern the Lord's body, but we also have lost the ability to feel for the body part that has been severed and replaced unless the body part is directly connected to us.  Lord Jesus, help us to feel the loss of and discern the needs or Your Body, The Church!

This is the first episode that is not autobiographical!  Episode 5 of Season 1 covers a shocking reality... that there will some of God's Children In the Pit!  It also deals with the need for someone to step up and step into the gap and make up the hedge to prevent the episode title from becoming reality for you as a prodigal or for the prodigals many others love and desire to see return to a right relationship with God!

Introduction To A Wasted Life!

In this episode, I cover the years from 1989 through the early fall of 1998. I recount some of the details involved in my prosecution on drug charges and how the hand of God worked miracles that I was too spiritually unconscious to even recognize until I looked back on everything later.  While I didn't give Jesus a second thought, I was always on His mind!
