Harper: The Forever That Finally Fit

Harper’s journey to her forever home wasn’t a straight line—and that’s more common in rescue than people realize. In this episode, we share Harper’s full story, from being surrendered by her owners, to being adopted, and then returned to rescue, along with the uncertainty that followed. We talk honestly about why returns happen, what dogs experience during these transitions, and how resilience and patience can change everything. Most importantly, we celebrate the ending Harper always deserved: a home that truly fits her—where she’s understood, supported, and finally home for good. Stevie's Story

This week we talk about Stevie and his story. From being found on the streets to being rescued from the shelter, this senior who is blind and deaf is now resting comfortably while we get him vetted and ready for the best years of his life! We also touch on the importance of being kind and the struggles of a rescue owner moving on after an animal has crossed the rainbow bridge.
