Descripción

In this week’s episode of The Radiant Life Podcast, I sit down with Alice Achan, survivor, visionary, and founder of the Te Kworo Foundation in Uganda. Alice’s story begins in war-torn Northern Uganda, where she barely survived the violence of the Lord’s Resistance Army. After losing many family members—including her nieces and nephew to AIDS—she could have given up. Instead, she chose faith. Alice opened her home to young girls returning from abduction, helping them find restoration, education, and healing. From that act of courage grew the Te Kworo Foundation, now serving over 1,100 girls with education, safe maternal health care for women, and a hospital currently under construction. Alice’s testimony of faith, hope, and resilience will inspire you to believe that out of our deepest suffering, the most profound beauty can arise. 🌍 Learn more about Te Kworo Foundation: https://www.te-kworofoundation.org/ [https://www.te-kworofoundation.org/] 🏃‍♀️ Support my Sydney Marathon fundraiser for Te Kworo: https://elizabeth-flints-sydney-marathon-for-te-kworo-foundation.raiselysite.com/

episode Faith Under Fire: Joel Narayan on the Cost of Following Jesus artwork

Faith Under Fire: Joel Narayan on the Cost of Following Jesus

What would you do if following Jesus meant risking everything? In this powerful episode, we sit down with Joel Narayan, an advocate for Open Doors Australia, an organization serving persecuted Christians in the most dangerous places on earth. Joel grew up in a multicultural Christian family and always loved God—but his dreams were fixed on success in the world of finance. Everything changed when he heard the story of Nadia, a persecuted Christian woman who witnessed extremists murder her son and son-in-law simply because they refused to deny their faith. That moment reshaped Joel’s life. Today, he dedicates himself to educating believers in Australia about the realities of Christian persecution—stories of courage, conviction, and faith under fire. This episode will challenge your assumptions about what it means to follow Jesus, what blessing really is, and how faith looks when it costs everything. If you want a deeper, more global perspective on Christianity—and a story that will stay with you—you won’t want to miss this conversation. In this inspiring episode of The Radiant Life Podcast, passionate and poetic pastor Kirrily Lowe shares a powerful message of transformation.
