Descripción

I have had the privilege as an elected official to be handed opportunities to listen, to learn and to try to understand our collective past and how we can consider moving forward as a community towards true reconciliation with our Indigenous partners in this land we call our home. This journey should bring us together, not tear our community apart and I have some thoughts on that. I encourage you to listen with your heart wide open, breathe deeply, be curious and shift your thinking towards a new path of discovery. Digging in our heels only sinks us deeper into the sand. Please choose to soar through the ups and downs, towards opportunities for true reconciliation, listening, healing and a more wholesome future.
