Episode 011: "A Dancer From The Heart" Feat. Reggio "The Hoofer" McLaughlin - Hosted by Nico Rubio

"A Dancer From The Heart" features he himself, Chicago Native, Reggio "The Hoofer" McLaughlin. This episode was streamed on YouTube Live as a part of The Last Shuffles, Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. It has since been edited for audio, but the original version is up on our Youtube Page here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_f-TW99B7T0]! Watch, Listen, Like, Subscribe, and Share, if you dig it. This episode follows Reggio's journey all the way from before he started Tap Dancing, when he was playing bass in a band and opening for folks like James Brown. Of course, we go through his Tap career, from teaching, performing, partnering with Chicago legend Ernest "Brownie" Brown, and writing a book about it all. Tune in for that much and more, from Reggio "The Hoofer".

Episode 007: Acknowledgments Series: Part One (Individuals)

Episode 7 takes us back to our original mission, acknowledging our elders and ascended masters. In a community effort to give a roll call to Tap Dancers 50+, you can hear various Tap Dancers of our modern age saying names of those they had a personal relationship with, and/or names of those that had an impact on them and their dancing. Other than an acknowledgment roll call, this can be a(nother) resource for you and yours to look up names you do or don't know. This is Part One of the Acknowledgments Series. Stay tuned for Part Two which will feature acts, groups, duos, trios and more. Keep in mind, these are not all of the Tap Dancers there ever were.. just those age 50+ and we're probably missing some. Feel free to reach out with any names you didn't hear. Much Love
