In this episode, we touch on unpacking DJ Envy, the biases and unbiased view points from Dr. Umar, series of events that lead to canceling culture and the role it plays in the media. From Kapernick's kneeling and the ongoing battle of being Black amongst other races, we live in a world where people aren't truly heard. People cancel the way you think on different platforms (ex. social media, friend groups) to make a statement or to be the protagonist. Society has developed peoples' way of thinking of what is accepted in the way we handle certain situations. Whether it's coming from pop culture, politics or as simple economics, the world condones victimization on several different layers just to prove one point.
