Welcome back to the Real World Podcast! This is the final episode of Season 1 with your hosts Anouska, Esmee and Sophie, the next episode will be hosted by the new Geography Reps, Jasmine and Ash. In this week's episode we discussed EU geopolitics, starting with the introducing segment on Vladimir Putin. Episode 9 - Superpowers

Hi everyone! Welcome to the ninth episode of The Real World Podcast. To begin, Sophie will be telling you about the Cat Islands in Japan in 'something you always wanted to know'. Following this, Anouska will be speaking about rising deforestation levels in Brazil in the Climate Change story segment. For our main segment we will be focusing on Superpowers, discussing what makes a Superpower, different types of power, the history of Superpowers and the role of physical geography in determining Superpowers. Episode 8 - COP26

Hi everyone! This week's episode is an indepth look at the current COP26 conference in Glasgow. To begin, Esmée explains the Paris Agreement to provide context for this years conference, given that many of the Paris goals are prevalent in COP26. Following this, Anouska will take you through a summary of what has been agreed in the conference so far. Finally, Sophie will talk about some specific speakers at the conference and what they contributed. To close, your hosts have provided you with some additional COP26 related recommendations. However, the conference is not over yet, so we encourage you to stay up-to-date with agreements and outcomes of COP26!

Episode 7 - Volcanology and Tectonics

The Real World Podcast is back after the summer holidays! In this episode the theme will be Volcanology and Tectonics which is Sophie's key area of interest. Our introducing segment will be on Jess Phoenix who is a volcano scientist, in the climate change segment we will be discussing Insulate Britain's recent protests and finally, our main segment will be Sophie taking you through some particularly interesting things in the field of volcanology and tectonics.
