Dr. David Sutton of Sarasota, Florida, is a leader in Christian-based recovery with more than 40 years of freedom from addiction and over 38 years of ministry experience. He holds a PhD in Psychology and a Doctorate in Divinity, and has dedicated his life to helping people find hope and healing through faith. Dr. Sutton is the founder of Answering Addiction, serves as a campus pastor with the Recovery Church Movement, and has trained addiction counselors, mentored ministry students, and guided countless individuals on the road to recovery. He is also the author of The Principle Approach: Keys to Recovery and other works on prayer and spiritual growth. Known for his passion and humility, Dr. Sutton often says, “I don’t have a ministry that I pray for; I have a prayer life, and out of the overflow is my ministry.”
