Descripción

In this episode of the Resilience Podcast, I’m talking about the role fitness should actually play in your life and why I believe the fitness industry often gets resilience completely backwards. Yes, building a workout structure and routine is important. Yes, developing consistency and momentum matters. But once fitness becomes established in your life, it should support your life, not consume it. I talk about: why fitness is not the “end all be all” the difference between health supporting your life versus becoming your identity how social media and the fitness industry often push unrealistic definitions of discipline why many people feel disconnected from “grind harder” messaging building exercise around your preferences instead of forcing yourself into systems you hate using fitness as a starting point for growth in other areas of life I also talk about resilience from a much broader perspective. A lot of people feel like they are failing because they have stopped and restarted fitness routines over the years. But resilience is not about never struggling. It’s about continuing to navigate life, learn, adapt, and move forward even when things feel difficult. You are more resilient than you think you are. And your ability to keep showing up and searching for a better direction says more about you than any perfect workout routine ever could. Where to Continue the Your Resilience Journey

After this episode, The Resilience Podcast will officially be paused. As the Your Level Fitness podcast network continues to evolve, there has naturally been a lot of overlap between different conversations, themes, and podcasts. Because of that, I want to simplify the experience and make it easier for you to navigate the content that best supports where you are right now. To view the most current podcast release schedule, active podcasts, weekly releases, paused shows, and archived conversations, head to: https://yourlevelfitness.com/podcasts Some podcasts currently release multiple episodes throughout the week. Others release weekly. Some remain active without fixed schedules, while others are paused or archived while still offering valuable conversations and perspective. No matter which podcast you listen to, the core message of Your Level Fitness remains the same: Helping you build a forever active lifestyle while learning to appreciate who and what you see in the mirror. The conversations around resilience, self-trust, mindset, consistency, confidence, and continuing to move forward through life’s challenges are still very much part of the Your Level Fitness ecosystem moving forward. Do You Feel Like You’re Barely Keeping Your Head Above Water?

In this episode of the Resilience Podcast, I’m talking to the people who feel like life has gotten the upper hand lately. The people who feel overwhelmed. The people who feel exhausted. The people who feel like they’re falling behind on their goals, routines, or responsibilities. If that’s where you are right now, I want you to remember something important: You have figured things out before. And you will figure this out too. This episode is about trusting yourself even when you do not have all the answers yet. I talk about: overwhelm and emotional exhaustion why resilience is not just “grinding harder” trusting yourself during difficult seasons why fitness should support your life instead of becoming your entire life learning to step back and navigate things with awareness instead of panic remembering how capable you actually are A lot of people are dealing with stress, burnout, work exhaustion, caregiving responsibilities, parenting challenges, mental fatigue, and chronic overwhelm right now. The old “just stay disciplined” messaging feels disconnected from real life for many people. This episode is a reminder that resilience is not perfection. It is continuing to navigate life even when things feel heavy. You’ve Already Proven You Can Do This

Think about everything you’ve already made it through. The situations you didn’t think you’d survive. The things people said you couldn’t do. The moments where you had no idea how you’d move forward, but you did. In this episode, I break down why your past experiences are the strongest proof of your resilience, and why building confidence isn’t about waiting for results, it’s about choosing to trust yourself now. You’ve already done more than you give yourself credit for. episode Building Resilience After Weight Loss and GLP-1s artwork

Building Resilience After Weight Loss and GLP-1s

This episode was originally recorded for the Life During and After GLP-1 Podcast, and I wanted to bring it to The Resilience Podcast because resilience is what keeps you going when the excitement fades, when progress slows down, and when life gets difficult. In this conversation, we talk about the emotional and mental side of weight loss, body image, food habits, and learning how to continue showing up for yourself even when things are not perfect. Because long-term change is not built through perfection. It is built through course correction, patience, and the willingness to keep moving forward. We also discuss how losing weight or using GLP-1 medications does not automatically remove insecurity, self-doubt, or emotional eating patterns. The real work is learning how to rebuild trust with yourself while creating habits that actually fit your life long term. If you have ever felt frustrated with yourself, discouraged by setbacks, or unsure how to maintain momentum during your fitness journey, this episode is a reminder that resilience is not about never struggling. It is about continuing to come back to yourself and your goals.
