In today's episode, team Inaara is in conversation with Devanshi Satija, an 18-year-old Paralympic athlete and has represented Haryana and India in Para Olympics. She is the youngest Indian and first women Para swimmer to Win a Medal (silver and bronze) in the Asian Para Games-2018 held in Indonesia (Jakarta) at the age of 15 years. With Devanshi's youthful perspective and disciplined passion for what she does, she poses as an inspiring female figure to all the young girls and women with ambitions and provides them with the courage to be the best version of themselves. We gather to celebrate their journey and seek answers that are bold and empowering for the listeners. This week, we have with us Ms. Bhavna Bhave Tokekar, with our host Soumya. At the age of 47, Ms. Tokekar, a mother of two teenagers, has won four gold medals at the Open Asian Powerlifting Championships of AWPC/WPC at Chelyabinsk in Russia. Ms. Tokekar has bagged three gold medals at the World Powerlifting Championship held in Moscow. In Russia, she competed with 500 players in U67.5 Masters 2 Category and won the Gold medal in full powerlifting raw and bench. With a world record of bench press, she has made India proud. She also features in the upcoming book of Poorna Bell titled-Stronger. Tune in to hear this inspirational story!
