From 2009 when indicted, through his nine-month 2012 prison sentence, Mike coped by studying and practicing yoga, with the goal of eventually sharing its power.  Beginning first with those in the justice system then adding at-risk populations in recovery, veterans, and others dealing with traumas, Mike’s dream grew and in 2013 he founded the Transformation Yoga Project in Philadelphia.
