Descripción

This is the most emotional episode I've ever had to record. After over a year and 50 episodes, the Road Podcast is taking a break. It's not because the journey wasn't valuable—it's because I refuse to do anything half-arsed anymore. In this episode, I'm honest about why I'm stepping back: I'm spreading myself too thin across five different reservoirs—the podcast, the band, my relationships, building Adam Media, and everything else—and none of them are getting what they deserve. I came into podcasting knowing nothing about media. It taught me editing, storytelling, how to speak on camera, how to deliver. Skills that got me out of a 21-year cage as a mechanic and into building my own business. For that, I'm forever grateful. But I can't maintain the quality I set out to deliver. I haven't even listened to my last five episodes because I didn't have the time to nail them properly. That's not fair to you or to me. The early episodes had focus. They had energy. And I won't let this become something I'm just keeping rolling. I'm thanking everyone who listened, every guest who came on—from Vietnam to Mexico to America and everywhere in between—and everyone who believed in what we were building. For now, I'm going all-in on Adam Media and the band. The mic will be here when the time is right. This is episode 50. This is farewell for now. Haiku 4.5 Extended

EP 47: Craig Sotkovsky on Mental Health and Resilience

Craig Sotkovsky is back — and he's not holding back. A 9/11 survivor, cancer fighter, entrepreneur, and professional chaos agent, Craig returns to The Road Podcast for a conversation that goes absolutely everywhere — and somehow makes perfect sense. Craig breaks down his upcoming 25-city RV tour across America, rolling up on cancer centres, firehouses, morning shows, and anyone else who'll listen — all in the name of cancer awareness and mental health. He gets raw about what nobody tells you when you're battling cancer: the financial wipeout, the people who walk away, and the mental war that runs alongside the physical one. From there? Buckle up. We get into the entrepreneurial mindset, breaking free from the wage slave grind, why the financial system is built to fail, the case for gold and silver over crypto, ancient civilisations they don't want you googling, and why The Matrix might actually be a documentary. Oh, and there's an orb on camera. Make of that what you will. If Craig's first episode made you think — this one will shake you.
