Sometimes I feel so many things ....

This episode is possibly something many of us won't say out loud because we're supposed to always be grateful, happy and helpful. Well sometimes I don't feel that way and I talk about it on this episode. I'm trying to relay that instead of doing all of this alone with a false smile and a feeling of overwhelm, sometimes it helps if we talk about it and say it out loud. It's hard to make the decision to move an aging parent from what they are familiar with.  This is how and why we decided to move Edna to a new Care Facility closer to my brother and I.

Self Care - Looking after you keeps you healthy and able to carry on!

We tend to put so much time and energy into caring for others that we tend to forget about how important it is to look after ourselves.  It doesn't have to be expensive, it doesn't have to be for hours but it should be something we practice daily.  For us!  To keep us healthy mentally & physically.  In this Podcast there are simple tips on how to look after yourself without leaving the house or spending lots of money.  Simple daily practices anyone can do that will help them feel better, rested and more able to handle what ever is thrown at them.  You are not alone in this journey.  Reach out, speak to friends and family and get in the habit of not isolating yourself when things get tough.  If you have any questions or comments please visit my website at www.louise-abbott.com
