The Second Amendment Report with Gun Owners of America
This week on The Second Amendment Report, we examine why so many constitutional questions surrounding the Second Amendment end up being decided in the courtroom, asking whether Americans should have to file lawsuits simply to exercise a constitutional right. We also discuss who should bear the burden of proof when governments restrict firearm ownership, how recent court decisions are shaping today's legal battles, and why agency rulemaking continues to play a central role in Second Amendment litigation. Then we turn to the changing firearms marketplace and explore whether the internet has permanently transformed—or even replaced—the role of the local gun shop, and what independent dealers still offer that online retailers can't. Finally, we tackle one of the most debated topics among firearm enthusiasts: whether the "perfect" all-around rifle truly exists, or if every rifle setup is ultimately a series of practical compromises based on mission, training, and personal preference.
