Send Candice a text! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2166241/fan_mail/new] Hey guess what? Leadership is not a title. It's not a corner office or a direct report or a seat at the big table. It's a decision. A daily, deliberate decision about who you are going to be at work - and how you're going to treat the humans around you. And honestly? The people who are standing out, getting noticed, and building careers they actually love right now are not waiting for permission. They're leading from wherever they are. As a junior. As a graduate. As someone who's been in the same role for five years. This episode is for every single one of them. And for you. This week Candice is sharing 3 keys to becoming a leader - no title, no promotion, no permission slip required. Some of it will make you think of your favourite person you've ever worked with. Some of it will make you want to be that person for someone else. All of it is worth a listen. In this episode we chat about: * The most underrated leadership skill that has nothing to do with strategy * What actually defines you as a leader (hint: it's not the good days) * The one thing the best people in every workplace do - without being asked * Why Gen Z is absolutely killing it right now and what we can all learn from them * The three questions to ask yourself before you walk into work tomorrow You don't need a fancy title. You just need to decide.  🎧 If this episode made you think, laugh, or question something - send it to someone who needs a little permission to do life differently.  📲 Screenshot, tag me @candiceharvey__, and let me know what hit home. 123. 1300 days Alcohol-Free: The Things Nobody Tells You

Send Candice a text! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2166241/fan_mail/new] It was 1st July 2016. Dry July had just started. I lasted ten hours. Dad offered me a glass of wine after work and honestly - it wasn't even a hard decision. Dry July was done before it really began. Fast forward to 2026 and I haven't had a drink in nearly 1,300 days.  Three and a half years. And I want to talk about it. Not in a preachy way. Not in a "I've seen the light and you haven't" way. In an honest, real, this-is-what-actually-happens way - because there are things nobody tells you about giving up alcohol.  Things that are hard. Things that are weird. Things that will make you laugh.  This episode is for the people who don't drink, the people who are curious about stopping, the people who've dabbled in giving it a break - and yes, even the people who have zero intention of quitting but want to listen anyway so they can say "see, that's exactly why I still drink Candice." All are welcome here. And also... happy 3.5 years of being alcohol-free to me!!! 🎧 If this episode made you think, laugh, or question something - send it to someone who needs a little permission to do life differently.  📲 Screenshot, tag me @candiceharvey__, and let me know what hit home. 122. You Walk the Walk - But Do You Talk the Talk? With Voice & Communication Advisor Sally Prosser

Send Candice a text! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2166241/fan_mail/new] Yesterday I was standing in front of 70 people in Rockhampton and for the first few minutes? Crickets. And I just kept thinking - I know these people are incredible. They work they do is incredible. So, what was holding them back? That moment is exactly why I recorded this episode. This week I'm joined by the brilliant Sally Prosser - voice and public speaking coach, TEDx speaker, author of Voiceprint, and host of That Voice Podcast. Sally spent years as a TV news journalist reporting for Ten, Seven and the ABC before crossing to the other side of the mic - and she has been helping people find and use their voice ever since. Here's the thing - there's a massive difference between speaking a lot and actually being heard. And so many talented, capable people are quietly losing credibility without even realising it. In this episode we get into meetings, negotiations, influence, and what it actually takes to make people listen when it counts. If you've got a big meeting, presentation or tough conversation coming up - this one's for you. 🎧 Press play. Your voice is worth using well. 121. How To Stop Feeling Behind In Life - What Buying My First Home at 40 Taught Me

Send Candice a text! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2166241/fan_mail/new] This week Candice gets personal about buying her first home at 40 - and the 5 things it taught her about ditching the invisible checklist and finally stop feeling behind in life. FYI: you're also not behind. You're just on your own timeline. And this episode will remind you why that's actually a freaking great thing. In this episode Candice talks about: * The quiet pandemic nobody is talking about (and it's not burnout) * Why the timelines we judge ourselves against were never ours to begin with * The thing a lot of us do to protect ourselves from disappointment - and why it's costing us * Why pausing and resetting is actually one of the smartest things you can do * The celebration step that high achievers almost always skip Grab a decaf flat white on oat. This one's a good one☕ 🎧 If this episode made you think, laugh, or question something - send it to someone who needs a little permission to do life differently.  📲 Screenshot, tag me @candiceharvey__, and let me know what hit home. 119. The 6 Reasons Your Life Feels Like Groundhog Day - and How to Shake Yourself Out of It.

Send Candice a text! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2166241/fan_mail/new] Heads up - this episode might feel more like a slap in the face than a shake-up. But there you go, you've been warned. Now carry on. It's June. Half the year is basically gone. And can we just be honest for a second - how does life actually feel compared to January? Because January had energy, didn't it? January had plans and intention and that whole fresh start feeling. And then February happened. And March. And somehow it's June and things feel a little… flat. A little same. A little bit... wake up, work, scroll, sleep, repeat. Sound familiar? This episode is for you. This week Candice is breaking down 6 reasons your life might be feeling like Groundhog Day right now - and what to do about each one. Some of it will resonate. Some of it will annoy you. All of it is worth hearing. In this weeks episode we talk about: * The quiet habit that keeps you stuck in the fog * Why the flat energy at work might have more to do with you than you think * The conversation you've been avoiding (yeah, that one) * What your strengths have to do with that nagging "something's missing" feeling * The one thing that underpins absolutely everything It's June. There's still half a year left. That's not nothing. Cheeky PSA for anyone who works in a team and gets a regular pay cheque - first of all, jealous - second of all, I need five minutes of your time. There's a survey link below and filling it out basically means you're a co-author of Book #2. Not really. But kind of. Please and thank you x  Here is the link to the survey.
