Why we love Whistler

Join me today as we explore the reasons why we love Whistler. We will be exploring a bit about the story of Whistler, what we like the most and what makes it absolutely unique. If you are into mountain biking, hiking or skiing you’ve probably heard of whistlers. Whistler is known and renowned for a lot of its activities. But why we love Whistler so much, that’s the question everyone that hasn’t been there is wondering. Opened in 1966, it was originally intended to be complete for the 1968 Winter Olympic, which did not not happen. Blackcomb opened in December 1980 as a separate entity.  Both mountains endured intense rivalry through the 1980s and 90s. For good the joined forces and it is now “Whistler Blackcomb” since 2003 when the BC real estate firm that developed Blackcomb acquired Whistler in 1997 ----- About me: My name is Daniel St-Pierre.
